Dr. Tase was born in New York, and he later moved to Georgia where he completed Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biology from Georgia State University. During these years, he shadowed at a dental clinic comprised of a father and son dentist team. Seeing how well they treated their patients, the excellent quality of their work, and how happy everyone was, this experience strengthened his decision to pursue a career in dentistry.
Life took him to sunny Southern California where he earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences. He loved every day of dental school, and provided much needed dental treatment to underserved communities.
After graduation, he moved back to New York City and completed a General Practice Residency and an additional three-year specialty residency in Periodontics at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. His training in Periodontics has equipped him to provide comprehensive periodontal treatment that includes: non-surgical and surgical therapy, regenerative procedures, dental implant placement, maxillary sinus augmentation, and periodontal plastic surgery.
Dr. Tase’s goal as your Periodontist is to first save your teeth and stop the progression of any periodontal disease that may be occurring. If a tooth or teeth need to be replaced, he’ll be there to discuss how you can benefit from dental implants.
During his time in residency, he visited New England and loved it so much that he was overjoyed when presented the perfect opportunity to serve the wonderful people of the Monadnock and surrounding communities in New Hampshire and Vermont. He enjoys everything our beautiful state has to offer, especially going to the lakes and hiking the mountains. If you have any recommendations, please let him know!
